Quizzes

Quizzes give you the opportunity to interact with your employees in a playful way and thus increase activity in the TELUS Health Engage app. They are also a great way to impart knowledge on specific health topics.


You will find the item 'Surveys & Quizzes' under the topic 'Communication' in the left menu. To create a quiz, follow the steps below:

• Click on “Add survey / quiz” and select the type “Quiz” at the top left.
• If you want to use one of the existing templates, simply select it. All fields of the selected template will be transferred to the new quiz and can then be edited as required. Otherwise, simply create your own quiz by setting the “Use template” field to “No template”.
• Now define a title and a description.
• To determine when a quiz is considered successfully passed, enter the percentage of correct answers to pass the quiz.
• If you want to ensure that the quiz can only be completed once per user, activate the switch
• “Limit number of repetitions per user?” and enter 1 in the field that appears.



• Now it's time to create your quiz questions. To do this, enter a question text and the available answer options in the input mask.
• By clicking on the small green tick on the right-hand side, you can mark the correct answer(s). You can easily change the order of your answers by clicking on the arrow buttons.
• You can now add as many questions as you like to your quiz. To do this, click on “Add question” and repeat steps.
• Once you have compiled all the questions, you can save your quiz. The quiz you have created will appear in the list of surveys and quizzes.


Please note:

With quizzes, it can make sense not to limit the number of times a user can complete the quiz. This allows colleagues to repeat the quiz several times to consolidate their knowledge.


Tips:

In addition to one-off quizzes, you also have the option of creating your own quiz templates. This allows you to reuse your quiz. To do this, click on the “Add quiz/question template” button in the list view and follow the same steps.


Don't want to go live with your quiz straight away? Then activate the “Draft” button to continue editing later.


After creating your quiz, you can display a preview in the TELUS Health Engage Backoffice. To do this, visit the list of surveys and quizzes and click on the button with the eye on the right.

• Summer quiz on sun protection
• Winter quiz on healthy seasonal vegetables


You can also use a quiz in connection with an event and, for example, consolidate the knowledge you have acquired in a fun way on a health day.


Maximize participation in your quiz

To keep your employees informed about the new quiz, make sure you communicate it via all channels. Use the news & push function or a teaser. Make sure that the “Enable publication via news and push” switch is activated.


You can also offer small prizes for the quiz winners to further increase motivation and engagement.
